I would not let the people distree: Comrade Prachanda

I would not let the people distree: Prachanda

I had been repeatedly saying to Girijababu and even say to my colleagues the peace process has been interlinked with strengthening change process, independence and sovereignty of our motherland Nepal. If we take peace process lightly and if it is isolated from our part lots of challenges would come in front of us which we can’t solve ultimately. We are motivated when we eradicate biasness, touchbility and insult complete peace would come to us. We have dreamt till the 12 points deal, comprehensive peace agreemo and even other contemporary agreements were held to institutionalize the peace process and lead it toward a safe ground.

At present, some people do not want to understand peace and change are two parts of a same coin. And they are unnecessarily making chaotic problem in the country. In fact this is anarchical thought. If we continue disputes of political matters we cannot address the needs of our countrymen in real sense. Neither could we address political and social consciousness which is laid in our geographical situation.

Therefore we have to know the sentiment of our people, country and the need of present situation to come to absolute solution of peace and change process. Again I want to concentrate to all in those two things which are in fact the key concept of sustainability of peace process. People have their own interpretation of political situation and that of our achievements but one thing is always true that we have done historical change in our political atmosphere. We achieved bigger goals and we are proud of federalism, religious solidarity, social justice which have been institutionalized in Nepal for the first time. Though we have splendidly done these bigger achievements some reactionary forces are still there in Nepal. They have negativism toward peace and change process.

ill the 12 points to comprehensive peace agreemo regarding the reactionary forces we have been repeatedly raising these issues. And we even said to be aware with such forces. I agree the constitution drafting and peace process are not sincerely carried on by the political parties which the people have presently concerned. If the reactionary forces get the opportunity they will do whatever they want. I have realized the things which I expressed above as I am the chairman of my party which is the largest in the constitution assembly.

I want to say to you all that the things which I have expressed are my own experiences. Our central committee meeting passed the decision to succeed the peace process before 28th May. We did the decision responsibly as we the largest party in the constitution assembly. We neither become skeptic nor bowed down our knees for carrying on the agendas which are for the betterment of Nepal and her people. As you know regarding arm settlement we speed up our move one step forward and our party’s central committee meeting decided this very issue. We have done lots of things regarding arm settlement. At present 31 August is again going to come soon and we have to do lots thing before its arrival.

Our equal efforts ease the difficulties. Let’s understand the present situation and let’s come together for national consensus. I have planned for consensus. I want to assured you that all the Nepalese have common interest for national development and I would not make you distress. I do my best till my live.We have to absolutely carry on the peace process to come to an end, except this me and even our party do not have other alternative. If we extend the peace process it may harm us. We have to be conscious about national consensus which is benefited to all.
